Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant meal preparation and culinary arts, with a keen eye for food presentation and safety. As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious Pizza dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene are maintained in the kitchen.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
  • Oversee food preparation processes to ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary requirements.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends to incorporate innovative techniques into meal preparation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
  • A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
