Hotel General Assistant – Isle of Skye, Scotland

TA Scotland LTD is looking for a friendly, flexible and hardworking person or couple to join our small hotel team on the beautiful Isle of Skye.

We are currently hiring for a General Assistant position in our small hotel. This is a varied hospitality role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same.

Position Details

This is a full-time, hands-on hospitality role where you will be involved in all aspects of the hotel's daily operations, including:

  • Housekeeping and room cleaning
  • Food & beverage service
  • Breakfast preparation and service
  • Reception duties, including guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Front of House assistance
  • Guest relations and customer service
  • General hotel support and day-to-day operations
  • Basic handyman and general maintenance tasks
  • Minor repairs and upkeep around the hotel
  • General hotel support and day-to-day operations

As part of a small team, flexibility, initiative and a positive attitude are essential.

Requirements

  • Good level of spoken English
  • Spanish and/or Italian language skills are highly desirable
  • Friendly, professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential

Pay & Accommodation

  • Full-time position
  • Live-in accommodation available
  • Transport between the Isle of Skye and Edinburgh is also available

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
