Full job description

IT Support Technician (Full-Time / In-Person)

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday. Shifts rotate between 8:00-16:30 and 8:50-17:20. Standard lunch break applies.
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

We’re looking for a tech‑savvy, people‑friendly problem solver to join our team. Just as important as technical ability, we care about attitude, teamwork, and being a decent human to work alongside.

We’ve built a genuinely friendly, supportive environment where people enjoy working together and feel comfortable asking questions or getting stuck in. If you’re interested in technology and want to start or develop a career in IT, this is a great opportunity to do that in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment where you’ll be encouraged, backed up, and given room to grow.

As our IT Support Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers - helping to troubleshoot issues, install software, set up user accounts, and escalate more complex problems to senior engineers when needed. You won’t be left to sink or swim; you’ll be supported by people who want you to succeed.

What You’ll Bring

We care more about your mindset than your CV. If you’re curious, proactive, and keen to learn, you’ll do well here. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A genuine interest in technology - whether that’s gaming, building PCs, or fixing Wi‑Fi issues
  • Some customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or any people‑facing role)
  • A logical approach to problem‑solving
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • A willingness to learn, take initiative, and work as part of a team
  • Some familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, or basic networking concepts is helpful, but not essential

Previous IT support experience is a bonus, but not essential - full training will be provided.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • A friendly, supportive team where people genuinely enjoy working together
  • Real mentoring and hands‑on learning, not just being handed tickets
  • Clear opportunities to grow your skills and progress your career
  • We recognise good work, celebrate milestones, and make an effort to keep things enjoyable as a team
  • Paid holidays and company pension
  • Free on-site parking
  • Flexible working options once you’re up to speed

Additional Information

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable
  • This is an office-based role. Applicants must already be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Witney and able to attend the office regularly.
  • We are unable to consider applicants who are currently based overseas.

Ready to Apply?

If you’re looking for a role where you’ll be supported, encouraged, and treated like part of a team - not just a number - we’d love to hear from you, even if you don’t tick every box.

Please note: we are not seeking support from recruitment agencies for this role.
