Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Your expertise in medical imaging, patient care, and communication will ensure accurate results and a positive experience for every patient. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize advanced imaging technology, including MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and CT (Computed Tomography), to deliver comprehensive diagnostic services. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to patient outcomes and the overall quality of care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and addressing any concerns.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow.
  • Assist with specialized imaging techniques such as MRI and CT scans when required, ensuring proper protocol adherence.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, images captured, and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use at all times.
  • Provide compassionate patient care by monitoring patient well-being during procedures and responding to their needs promptly.

Skills

  • Proficiency in medical imaging modalities including ultrasound, MRI, and CT scanning techniques.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
