Calling all aspiring Digital Marketers! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with Watches of Switzerland Group to hire a Digital Marketing Apprentice!
The Digital Marketing Assistant (Apprentice) will support the Digital Marketing team in delivering multi-channel marketing activity for The Watches of Switzerland Group Ecommerce websites across the UK and Europe. This is an entry-level development role designed for someone completing the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, with the majority of skills and technical knowledge developed through structured training, coaching, workplace projects and on-the-job learning.
Working closely with the Group Digital Marketing Manager and wider Ecommerce team, the apprentice will learn how to support activity across key digital marketing channels, including paid search, SEO, affiliates, social media, content, reporting and local store visibility. They will assist with campaign set-up, asset coordination, data checks, performance reporting and administration, helping the team deliver traffic growth, customer acquisition, retention and profitable sales.
The role will provide exposure to campaign planning, customer-centric marketing, competitor research, data-driven decision-making, Google Analytics, Google Ads, content management systems, AI tools and responsible use of marketing technology. The apprentice will be expected to build confidence over time, contribute to workplace projects and develop a portfolio of evidence aligned to the apprenticeship programme.
A Typical Day on the Job
Supporting the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns across paid search, SEO, affiliates, social media, content, local store visibility and other relevant channels.
Assisting with campaign planning tasks, including gathering information, preparing briefs, checking assets, coordinating timelines and helping ensure activity is delivered accurately and on time.
Learning how to use marketing data to monitor performance, identify trends and support reporting, using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Excel, Similarweb, Microsoft Clarity and relevant platform reports.
Supporting regular reporting and analysis by preparing data, checking accuracy, updating trackers and summarising key observations for the team.
Helping maintain accurate digital store information across platforms such as Google, Apple Maps and Bing, including data checks, updates and issue tracking.
Supporting the creation, adaptation and checking of campaign content, copy, imagery, video assets and website information in line with brand guidelines and channel requirements.
Learning how customer personas, audience segmentation and customer journey stages are used to create relevant marketing activity.
Conducting basic competitor, market and customer research to support campaign proposals, trading reviews and brand activity.
Supporting communication with internal teams, external agencies and apprenticeship coaches, ensuring actions, updates and questions are followed up clearly.
Developing awareness of legal, regulatory and quality requirements relevant to marketing, including GDPR, data protection, copyright, brand standards and responsible use of AI.
Using AI and productivity tools appropriately to support research, analysis, communication and efficiency, while following company guidance and ethical best practice.
Completing apprenticeship learning activities, off-the-job training, workplace projects, progress reviews, portfolio evidence and End Point Assessment preparation within agreed timelines.
Assisting in other areas of the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce team as required, with responsibilities increasing as skills and confidence develop.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the Baltic team.
