Full job description

Purpose of Job:
The Product & Proposition Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Product & Proposition function in launching new and revised products & propositions to the marketplace helping to deliver sales and financial goals and meet customer needs. They will:

· Work with Product & Proposition team members to launch both new propositions and enhancements to existing propositions into the marketplace, through providing accurate and up to date competitor and market information

· Support in the creation of business cases for new propositions for Exco approval

· Ensure all product & proposition information and criteria listings are accurate, across the Foundation website, external websites and sourcing systems where applicable

· Analyse and report on market data and information from internal & external sources as required

Key Accountabilities:

· Support a disciplined approach to Product & Proposition Development, with key involvement in the implementation phase

· Work with the senior Product & Proposition team and other departments to launch new products and propositions and enhance the existing suite

· Have primary responsibility for the accuracy of competitor/market analysis to support the launch of new products and propositions as well as daily BAU product positioning

· Analyse and report on key management information and insights from both internal and external sources to support the building of business cases

· Work as required across all Commercial areas (Product, Sales & Marketing) to support the delivery of projects and releases that will both drive an uplift in business volumes and improve the customer/broker experience

· Work cross departmentally to ensure all new propositions have support and input from relevant stakeholders at both concept and implementation phases

· Play a role as required in testing products and other relevant releases before they go live

Essential Skills/Competencies:

Previous experience of working in the mortgage industry, ideally for a lender

Good understanding of mortgage products

· Excellent attention to detail

· Good stakeholder management skills

· Confident in dealing with external parties where necessary

· Ability to work to tight deadlines

· Good verbal and written communications skills

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and all Office applications

· Team player with a flexible approach

· Pro-active and able to work under their own initiative when required

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

· An understanding of financial intermediaries and their role in the mortgage market.

· Good project management skills

· Awareness and understanding of ongoing changes in mortgage regulation and legislation such as Consumer Duty and the impact these will have on the business

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
