Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining food safety protocols, and delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence to lead a vibrant team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, including food preparation, serving, and customer service.
  • Manage staff schedules, assign duties, and oversee team performance to ensure high standards of hospitality.
  • Oversee food safety compliance, ensuring all health regulations are adhered to consistently.
  • Monitor kitchen operations, including food production and culinary processes, to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment in accordance with safety standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise profitability.
  • Implement training programmes for staff development and ensure team members are well-informed on food safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
  • Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, and service roles such as serving or barista work.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production and kitchen management.
  • Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Culinary experience is highly desirable, with a good understanding of food presentation and quality standards.
  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • A personable approach with excellent communication skills to foster a positive working environment.
