Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your passion for hospitality and commitment to guest satisfaction will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills to process transactions.
  • Assist in food preparation as needed, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, floors, and service stations.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing help where necessary to ensure satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food and beverages.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in guest services or a restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic culinary knowledge is advantageous, along with an understanding of food preparation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
  • A passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
