Full job description
REFERRAL REWARD: SGD$500
A leading regional industrial services company—renowned for its innovation in engineering solutions and operational excellence across Southeast Asia—is looking for a seasoned Regional HR Director to shape and lead its human capital strategy across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Brunei. Reporting directly to Group C-level leadership, this critical role sits at the heart of the company’s regional expansion and transformation journey, ensuring a strong talent foundation, operational HR rigor, and a future-ready workforce.
You’ll be the architect behind aligning HR strategies with business imperatives, and driving initiatives in organizational development, employee engagement, workforce planning, and HR operations. Your ability to navigate the nuances of diverse labor environments and inspire performance across borders will be key. Notably, you will also spearhead the evolution of the company’s compensation and benefits framework, ensuring it remains competitive, equitable, and motivating—a cornerstone in the attraction and retention of top-tier talent in this labor-tight region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor HR teams across multiple Southeast Asian countries, fostering a consistent yet locally attuned people strategy.
Build and implement compensation and benefits structures that are market-competitive, sustainable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Collaborate closely with business leaders to support growth, transformation, and workforce planning across all markets.
Ensure compliance with diverse labor laws, statutory HR regulations, and internal governance policies.
Use HR data and analytics to drive insights, improve organizational health, and track regional performance.
Champion a high-performance culture through talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Streamline HR operations and elevate employee experience through robust onboarding, payroll alignment, and process excellence.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a regional or multi-country leadership role.
Strong understanding of Southeast Asian labor laws and HR trends.
Track record of building and managing cross-border HR teams and functions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with C-suite stakeholders.
Willingness to travel within the region to support teams and initiatives.
