With over 25 years of experience and a fully trained team, we pride ourselves on providing dealer-level services with the latest authorised diagnostic equipment direct from BMW, Mercedes and ODIS from VW.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our expert team at Prestige German Cars Limited in GB. This role is vital in ensuring our customers' high-performance German vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and dealer specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicle faults using authorised dealer equipment (BMW ISTA, VAG ODIS, Mercedes Xentry, etc.)
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, servicing, and safety checks
  • Engine and gearbox repairs.
  • Use hand tools & power tools to carry out repairs efficiently.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacements.
  • Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle.
  • Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship
  • Work on hybrid and electric vehicles, including high-voltage systems
  • Accurately document all work carried out and update online service records
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and health & safety compliant workspace
  • Communicate technical issues clearly with the workshop manager

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within a dealership or independent garage.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of German vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are preferred.
