Live-In Junior SEND Nanny | Bromley, South East London

Salary: £300 per week
Accommodation, food, travel pass and additional benefits included

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and enthusiastic Live-In Junior Nanny to support a bright and engaging 9-year-old boy in a warm and welcoming family home in Bromley.

This role would suit someone with experience supporting children with Autism and ADHD, who is looking to become a valued part of a loving family environment while helping a child reach his full potential.

The child is autistic and has ADHD but is low on the spectrum, highly intelligent, well-mannered, and thrives with positive engagement, routine and encouragement.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
  • Supporting the child's daily routines and emotional wellbeing
  • School drop-offs and pick-ups
  • Engaging the child in educational, creative and recreational activities
  • Assisting with homework and learning opportunities
  • Preparing simple meals and snacks
  • Light child-related household duties
  • Occasional care of a friendly 2-year-old cat
  • Babysitting 1–2 evenings per week

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous childcare experience is essential
  • Experience supporting children with Autism and/or ADHD is highly desirable
  • Patient, reliable, organised and caring nature
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Full driving licence preferred
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development

Working Hours

Typically:

7:30am – 9:00am
3:00pm – 7:00pm

Plus:

  • 1–2 evenings of babysitting per week
  • Occasional weekend support
