Full job description

Sol-Millennium is seeking an experienced Clinical Sales Specialist to promote and sell our needles, syringes, and PPE to hospitals, clinics, and health centers, as well as pharmaceutical customers. The Clinical Sales Specialist will interact with personnel at all levels including buyers, inventory managers, medical practitioners, and the leadership. As the person responsible for building out the UK territory, the Clinical Sales Specialist will have a highly visible role within the sales team and be a key contributor to Sol-Millennium’s growth.


This role is responsible for our UK territory. We are open to applicants across the UK and will work with you to build your territory. Some travel will be required outside of your normal territory as we build the region.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage business within NHS hospitals and private clinics.
  • Propose business strategy and sales and channel management plans to sustainably grow the region.
  • Manage existing customers in the public and private sectors, understanding customer needs.
  • Identification of new opportunities and new potential customers.
  • Meet or exceed the annual revenue plan.
  • Provide clinical demonstrations and instructions on using Sol-M products in pre-sale, implementation, and post-sale situations.
  • Represent the company at various trade shows or training meetings.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as marketing, regulatory affairs, supply chain, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Sales experience in the medical device or pharma industry (injection, infusion, blood collection, disposable and capital equipment, diabetes).
  • University degree in nursing, healthcare, pharmacy, biotechnology, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of the UK market, its health care system, and local business practices.
  • Basics in contracting, negotiating, and managing hospitals and private clinics business.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
  • Proactive and the ability to take initiative with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional courses or experience in the medical field is a plus.
