Homelessness Case Officer
It is exciting times in the council’s Housing Choices Team and we are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join our team. You will manage a combined case load of prevention and relief cases and so you will have a thorough understanding of and experience of working under part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 and Homeless Reduction Act 2017. We are looking for a customer focussed team member to work with customers who are homeless or threatened with homelessness to help them find housing solutions that meet their needs whilst ensuring our statutory obligations are met. You will need a full driving license to ensure you can carry out visits across the district.
- 36.25 hrs per week with a starting annual salary at £32,597- pay award pending (band £32,597 to £36,363)
- Agile working scheme with a combination of home and office working
- 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent)
