Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time associate and self-employed HCPC Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with EMDR and CBT training or BACP accredited CBT therapist with EMDR training to join our team. You want flexible working to achieve or to expand your dream of being independent practitioners or self-employed associate psychotherapists. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership qualities while developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of clients. This role is essential in providing therapeutic support and guidance, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth and healing.

Duties

  • Carry a flexible caseload of 2 or more clients for remote and/or face-to-face CBT, EMDR and/or a combination of CBT and EMDR.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalised care plans.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions, utilising evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in therapeutic practices and mental health trends.

Qualifications

  • If a psychologist, HCPC Counselling/Clinical Psychology registration and training on CBT and EMDR. If a psychotherapist, BABCP or BACP accreditation in CBT and training on EMDR.
  • EMDR UK/Europe practitioner registration.
  • At least one years’ post qualified psychological assessment and treatment experiences.
  • Proven experience in a therapeutic setting is preferred.
  • Strong IT skills for managing client records and documentation effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding clients through their therapeutic journey.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.

FEES PAID TO PSYCHOLOGISTS AND PSYCHOLOGISTS.

These are explained below under two different headings, namely, (1) Fees Paid To Psychologists 01.07.2026; (2) Fees Paid To Psychotherapists 01.07.2026.

FEES PAID TO PSYCHOLOGISTS 01.07.2026

(1) PSYCHOLOGISTS SEEING CLIENTS AT HEALTH CITY’S CONSULTATION ROOMS, EXAMPLE, LONDON E14.

(a) Remote Assessment at Health City's Consultation Room: This includes the Assessment and its Report, the Mid-Treatment/Progress Report and the End of Treatment/Discharge Report. This is £65 because of the paperwork involved;

(b) Remote Therapy/Treatment Session at Health City's Consultation Room: This remains £60 because the referrals are low paying to Health City.

(c) Face-To-Face Assessment at Health City's Consultation Room: This includes the Assessment and its Report, the Mid-Treatment/Progress Report and the End of Treatment/Discharge Report. This is £70 because of the paperwork involved.

(d) A Face-To-Face Therapy Session at the Health City’s Consultation Room: This remains £65 because the referrals are low paying to Health City.

(2) THERAPISTS SEEING CLIENTS AT THEIR OWN CONSULTATION ROOMS.

(a) Remote Assessment at Therapist’s Consultation Room: This includes the Assessment and its Report, the Mid-Treatment/Progress Report and the End of Treatment/Discharge Report. This increased from £65 to £70 because of the paperwork involved;

(b) Remote Therapy/Treatment Session at Therapist’s Consultation Room: This remains £65 because the referrals are low paying to Health City.

(c) Face-To-Face Assessment at Therapist’s Consultation Room: This includes the Assessment and its Report, the Mid-Treatment/Progress Report and the End of Treatment/Discharge Report. This increased from £65 to £75 because of the paperwork involved;

(d) A Face-To-Face Therapy session at the therapist's own consultation room: This remains £70 because the referrals are low paying to Health City.

FEES PAID TO PSYCHOTHERAPISTS 01.07.2026

(1) THERAPISTS SEEING CLIENTS AT HEALTH CITY’S CONSULTATION ROOMS, EXAMPLE, LONDON E14.

(a) Remote Assessment at Health City's Consultation Room: This includes the Assessment and its Report, the Mid-Treatment/Progress Report and the End of Treatment/Discharge Report. This increased from £50 to £60 because of the paperwork involved;

(b) Remote Therapy/Treatment Session at Health City's Consultation Room: This remains £45 because the referrals are low paying to Health City.

(c) Face-To-Face Assessment at Health City's Consultation Room: This includes the Assessment and its Report, the Mid-Treatment/Progress Report and the End of Treatment/Discharge Report. This increased from £55 to £60 because of the paperwork involved.

(d) A Face-To-Face Therapy Session at the Health City’s Consultation Room: This remains £55 because the referrals are low paying to Health City.

(2) THERAPISTS SEEING CLIENTS AT THEIR OWN CONSULTATION ROOMS.

(a) Remote Assessment at Therapist’s Consultation Room: This includes the Assessment and its Report, the Mid-Treatment/Progress Report and the End of Treatment/Discharge Report. This increased from £50 to £60 because of the paperwork involved;

(b) Remote Therapy/Treatment Session at Therapist’s Consultation Room: This remains £50 because the referrals are low paying to Health City.

(c) Face-To-Face Assessment at Therapist’s Consultation Room: This includes the Assessment and its Report, the Mid-Treatment/Progress Report and the End of Treatment/Discharge Report. This increased from £60 to £70 because of the paperwork involved;

(d) A Face-To-Face Therapy session at the therapist's own consultation room: This remains £60 because the referrals are low paying to Health City.
