Job Summary

Visage Orthodontics is seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.

Duties

  • Welcome patients and visitors in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Answer telephone calls, emails, and respond to patient enquiries.
  • Book, amend, and manage patient appointments.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Carry out general administrative and reception duties.
  • Support clinicians and the management team with day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, organised, and welcoming.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with practice policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a receptionist, administrator, or in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using computers and office software.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, reliable, and well presented.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working as a Dental Receptionist or within a dental or healthcare practice.
  • Experience using dental practice management software.
  • Experience managing appointment diaries and patient enquiries.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
