Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management and control of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance across all phases of our projects. Your expertise will support seamless communication, efficient data handling, and adherence to industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects by maintaining rigorous document control processes that drive project success.

Duties

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive document control procedures aligned with project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage the creation, revision, distribution and archiving of all project-related documents using advanced document management systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely updates and accurate version control of technical drawings, reports, contracts and correspondence.
  • Utilise tools for data visualisation and reporting to monitor document workflows and project progress.
  • Implement database design principles to organise large datasets efficiently within databases.
  • Conduct regular audits of document repositories to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership in training team members on document control protocols and software tools to foster a culture of accuracy and accountability.
  • Contribute to project management efforts by tracking document statuses, deadlines and deliverables through robust systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in document control within large-scale projects or construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies combined with technical expertise in database design, data analysis skills and analysis skills.
  • Proficiency and experience with databases and platforms and data integration tools is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with data management best practices including version control, audit trails and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills coupled with attention to detail in handling complex documentation workflows.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and technological advancements in data management systems.
