We are looking for a Duty Manager to come and work in a fast paced, friendly boarding kennels. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of a boarding kennel ensuring the health and wellbeing of all staff members and dogs under your care. The ideal candidate should have a good combination of the following attributes;

-Preferably had experience managing a team or is able to manage a team effectively

- Be organised, able to use your own initiative and have the ability to prioritize tasks well

- The ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations

- Possess excellent communication and customer service abilities

- Be passionate about dogs, with strong animal care knowledge and previous experience working in an animal care profession. Due to being an all-inclusive kennels you must be confident handling a wide range of breeds and temperaments

- Have a clean manual driving license

- Be prepared for a physically demanding role working in all weather types

You would work five shifts per week including weekends, bank holidays (including Christmas) and overnight work. The ability to get to work under your own steam is a must as we are in a remote location.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,350.00 per year
