Join Our Pack – Sales Account Manager Wanted!

At The Innocent Pet Care Company, we’re not your average pet food brand. We’re a passionate, family-run business crafting luxury food and treats for dogs and cats under our award-winning brands, The Innocent Hound and The Innocent Cat. With innovation at the heart of everything we do, we’re leading the pack in premium pet food – and now, we’re looking for a driven, enthusiastic and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our growing team in West Yorkshire.

About the Role:

This is your chance to take the lead on exciting growth opportunities for two standout brands in the pet world. You’ll play a key role in driving sales and building strong, lasting relationships with our fabulous customers.

Here’s what you’ll be getting stuck into:

  • Proactively seeking and securing new business across multiple markets
  • Managing the full sales pipeline for the independent pet trade as well as key national accounts
  • Attending fun and fast-paced trade and consumer shows – with some travel, overnight stays, and weekend events (don’t worry, you’ll get days off in lieu)
  • Nurturing existing client relationships and spotting new opportunities for growth

About You:

  • You’ve got at least 12 months’ experience in FMCG Account Management and lead generation
  • Ambitious, energetic, and passionate about what you do
  • A people-person who thrives on building strong relationships.
  • Adaptable and ready to roll with the fast-paced nature of a growing brand
  • Organised, confident, and a top-notch communicator
  • Ready to work closely with different departments to deliver the best for our customers
  • Experience of forecasting and delivering to an agreed budget.

This is a full-time, office-based role in Thorp Arch, Wetherby – perfect for someone who loves being in the heart of the action with a close-knit team.
