Elite Dog Trainer & Behaviourist OR Top Level Talent with experience.

Location: Within 20 miles of Surrey

Type: Full-time

Requirement: MUST have a driving licence and vehicle.

Job Overview:

We are seeking EITHER a young, dynamic, and exceptionally talented dog trainer with a strong background in working within the training sector of the dog industry, dogs with behavioural issues, and a broad spectrum of canine training environments

OR

An experienced trainer of any age that is already working within the sector with a vast experience of working within a company with a similar line of work to ourselves.

This role offers a prestigious opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s leading trainers and handle an impressive range of outstanding dogs, working closely with our significant portfolio of high brow clients.

Responsibilities:

- Engage in advanced training alongside our Senior Trainers to master ‘The Phoenix Way.’

- Work with our 'Trained Dogs' on a daily basis to ensure significant progression toward their position as Fully Trained Dogs.

- Take an active role in training sessions and behavioural work with dogs, ensuring high standards and exceptional results.

- Demonstrate expertise in working with protection dogs and those with complex behavioral challenges.

- Support the team with your knowledge and skills, contributing to the overall success of our training programs.

Requirements:

- Applicant MUST have a valid UK driving license and own a car.

- Applicants should be happy to be based within 20 miles of Surrey and MUST be willing to travel, our clients are based all over the UK, Europe and further afield.

- Applicants must have proven experience in dog training with a focus on either working protection dogs or dogs with behavioural issues.

- Applicants must have a strong track record of success in high-level training scenarios OR be able to showcase their skill level and experience.

- Applicants must have a deep passion for dogs and commitment to excellence in training.

- Applicants must show a willingness to work extended hours when needed, this is without a doubt a 'lifestyle' job.

- Applicants must have an excellent ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction where necessary from leaders within our team.

- Applicants should have a suitable level of physical fitness and capability to handle various breeds.

- Applicants should be aware that we utilise all four quadrants of operant conditioning and thus anyone applying should be aligned with this.
