Job Title: Flexible Junior Dog Day Care Assistant – Whitley Bay

Are you passionate about dogs and looking to join a dedicated, experienced team? We are seeking a Junior Dog Day Care Assistant to join our Whitley Bay centre on a flexible, zero-hours basis.

We are the North East’s largest dog day care facility, and we pride ourselves on offering a fun, safe, and loving environment for all the dogs in our care. Our team is passionate about dogs, and we’re looking for someone who shares that passion to help us continue delivering the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and caring for a variety of dogs throughout the day
• Ensuring the play areas are safe, clean, and fun for the dogs
• Supporting the team with feeding, walking, and playtime activities
• Monitoring dog behaviour and ensuring their welfare at all times
• Assisting with cleaning and maintaining the day care environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine love and passion for dogs
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work well within a team and independently
• Willingness to work on a zero-hours contract with the opportunity for shifts to fit around your schedule
• Experience working with dogs is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate

Location: Whitley Bay
Contract Type: Zero Hours
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Pay: From £6.86 per hour

Expected hours: 8.5 – 34 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
