Company Overview

Canine Groom School Ltd is a leading specialist Groom School and government-funded apprentice provider dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pets. Our mission is to change the way animal apprenticeships are delivered in England using our vast hands on experience over the last 15 years.

Summary

We are seeking applicants who live in England and want to start their animal care and welfare / manager apprenticeship. This could be with a local doggy day-care, kennels, vets, dog rescue or hydrotherapy centre.

Responsibilities could be

  • Supervise daily operations related to animal care, ensuring all pets receive proper attention and treatment.
  • Develop and implement care protocols that meet the highest standards of animal welfare.
  • Providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate records of animal health, treatments, and grooming schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the facility.
  • Engage with clients to provide excellent customer service and address any concerns regarding their pets if the company allows.

Requirements

  • 16+ years old.
  • If 16-18 years old maths and english grade C/4 desirable but not essential.
  • If 19+ no maths or english qualifications are required.
  • No equivalent animal qualifications already completed.
