**Job Title: Petmobeel” Spa on Wheels” Grooming Technician **

**Job Summary: **

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Mobile Pet Grooming Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent grooming skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As part of our mobile grooming team, you will travel to clients' homes to provide grooming services for their pets in a safe and comfortable environment.

** Location **

Harrogate & Immediate Environs (HG1 - HG5 ) – North Yorkshire.

**Key Responsibilities: **

1. **Mobile Grooming Services: **

v Travel to client locations in a company-provided mobile grooming unit with driver.

v Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, nail clipping, and ear cleaning for various pets (primarily dogs and cats).

v Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin and provide appropriate grooming treatments.

2. **Customer Service: **

v Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their pets.

v Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming services, techniques, and aftercare.

v Provide educational information to pet owners on grooming and pet care.

3. **Pet Handling and Safety: **

v Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming.

v Recognize and address any behavioural issues or health concerns while grooming.

v Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment in the mobile unit.

4. **Equipment Maintenance: **

v Ensure all grooming tools and equipment are properly maintained and sanitised.

v Report any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to management.

5. **Appointment Scheduling and Attendance: **

v Manage scheduling and time effectively with the scheduling team to ensure timely arrival and completion of grooming appointments.

v Keep accurate records of services performed, pet information, and client preferences.

6. **Team Collaboration: **

v Work collaboratively with other grooming staff and management to improve service delivery.

v Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

**Qualifications: **

· Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred.

· Certification in pet grooming or completion of a grooming school is a plus.

· Knowledge of various dog and cat breeds and their grooming needs.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

· Clean verifiable DBS record.

· Passion for animals and commitment to their well-being.

**Physical Requirements: **

· Ability to lift and handle pets of varying sizes and weights.

· Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with grooming.

· Comfortable working in various weather conditions while traveling to appointments.
