About Us
Trendy Pooches is an academy who are passionate in training the next generation of professional dog groomers. We are looking for someone energetic and inspiring who is passionate about grooming and loves helping others grow their skills and confidence.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Positive, professional and passionate about grooming
  • A confident leader who can motivate and support both students and staff
  • Experienced in dog grooming and ideally has experience in teaching or mentoring others

For the right candidate there is an opportunity to lease or purchase this grooming school business

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional dog grooming experience
  • Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming (or equivalent experience)
  • Teaching, Assessor, or IQA qualifications (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to manage and inspire a small team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable using IT systems and software

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and mentor students in both theory and practice according to Aim/Ocn Syllabus
  • Maintain accurate student assessment, feedback and portfolio records
  • encourage students to gain the skills and confidence to become professional dog groomers
  • Maintain strong relationships with both students and dog owners
  • Support recruitment and training of new staff
  • Work closely with the business owner to share updates and ideas for growth

Experience Required

  • Dog grooming: minimum 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification

  • Driving licence (required)

Work Authorisation

  • United Kingdom (required)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
