**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Dog Trainer to join our dynamic team at Trident Family Protection Dogs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in training and developing our family protection dogs, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future homes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Train and socialize dogs according to company standards, focusing on obedience and protection skills.
- Develop individualized training programs tailored to each dog's needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent training approach.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients regarding their trained dogs.
- Attend and contribute to training sessions and team meetings.
- Potentially travel to deliver dogs to clients in various locations.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a dog trainer, with a strong understanding of canine behavior.
- Experience with protection dogs is highly advantageous, although training will be provided to suitable candidates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A passion for dogs and a commitment to their well-being.
**Working Hours:**
- Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30.
- Occasional weekend cover may be required.
