Be the friendly face of Paws & Co.

Paws & Co Veterinary Centre is an independent small animal practice at Capitol Park, Tingley. We are part of the Paws & Co Group, which also includes Yorkshire Paws & Co (luxury boarding, cattery and grooming) and The Dog Training Company.

We are looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist to join us full time. Around 70% of your time will be on the vet reception desk, with the rest supporting our sister businesses on the same site.

Vet reception (around 70%)

  • Welcoming clients and their pets, in person and on the phone
  • Managing the appointment diary and patient records
  • Taking payments and explaining treatment estimates
  • Signing clients up to our Companion and Companion Plus health plans

Group support (around 30%)

  • Boarding and cattery bookings, check ins and check outs
  • Grooming bookings
  • Dog training enquiries and bookings

About you

  • Previous veterinary reception experience is essential
  • Warm, patient and calm under pressure
  • Organised, with confidence on the phone and practice management software
  • A genuine love of dogs and cats

Hours

Full time, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings shared on a rota. No out of hours work.
