Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Hand and become a vital part of providing exceptional care and support for our animals. In this energetic role, you will assist with daily kennel operations, ensure the well-being of pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Your dedication will help create a positive experience for both animals and their owners, contributing to our mission of compassionate animal care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals while developing valuable skills in animal husbandry and customer service.

Duties

  • Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medications to animals in the kennel
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards
  • Monitor animals’ behavior and health, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or supervisors
  • Support with exercise routines, socialization, and enrichment activities for pets
  • Handle heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, bedding, and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Provide friendly assistance to pet owners during drop-off and pick-up processes
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and kennel maintenance tasks

Skills
