Part-Time Dog Groomer – Join Derby’s #1 Grooming Spa

Heavnely Dog Grooming Spa & School is looking for a passionate, experienced groomer to join our award-winning team on a part-time basis.

We’re proud to be the #1 grooming spa in Derby, known for our calm, professional environment and loyal clientele. If you have at least 1 year of grooming experience and love working with dogs, this could be the perfect fit.

Responsibilities:

• Groom dogs from start to finish—bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling—within a 2-hour timeframe
• Trim nails, clean ears, and perform general health checks
• Handle dogs with confidence, care, and patience
• Communicate with clients about grooming preferences and aftercare
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and contribute to a calm salon environment
• Assist with reception duties or support team members when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on dog grooming experience
• Ability to complete full grooms independently within 2 hours
• Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments
• Excellent time management and self-motivation
• Friendly, team-oriented, and professional communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
