Full job description
Duties:
- Groom and style pets according to client specifications and breed standards
- Bathe and dry pets, including brushing their coats and trimming their nails
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction
- Must be able to work both on own and with others and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer is essential
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and patience
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming techniques
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and understand their grooming preferences
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting, as some pets may require assistance
