Job Role:

Please read full job description before applying.

Ideally you will live in north Wiltshire as travelling is part of the job. This role would suit someone who works remotely as you can work from the clients house as long as you have time to walk the dog and give them the attention they require. Hours depend on your availability. House sits are very popular so we are looking for people that are willing and able to stay at peoples homes looking after their pets and home whilst they are on holiday.

This is not just a job, the pets become part of our family whilst their owners are away and we take them on adventures from the beach, play dates, parks, garden centres the list is endless.

We are looking for people who can do house sits, day sits in clients home and dog walks. The role includes walking dogs of all sizes and strengths, let outs, pet feeds, day sits in clients’ homes, including keeping pet/s company, feeding, playing and cuddling. On a house sit, apart from the first and last day you get 4 hours break to do with as you please, some of our staff pick up extra work during that time but it is not essential.

Hours are dependant on your availability but do vary week to week no week is the same, work is not guaranteed but we do have a lot of clients with regular new clients enquiring regularly. This is a self employed role and there will be solo walks and pack walks available when staff are on leave.

Pay is paid per job as we offer a wide range of services to suit the client from 15 minute pet visits, walks vary in times, day sits can be anything from 2-10 hours and house sits can be anything from 1 night up to 3 weeks. We do tend to share long house sits so you are not away from home for too long.

We cover the following areas: South Cerney, Tetbury, Malmesbury, Brinkworth, Royal Wootton Bassett, Lyneham, Calne, Cirencester, swindon, chippenham and surrounding villages.

Experience

Essential:

1) A driver with access to your own vehicle which you are happy to have dogs in (business insurance will be required)

2) Have or are willing to get a DBS

4) Confident with walking dogs of all sizes, singularly or in packs (max of 4 dogs per walker)

5) Have previous experience with dogs and animals either professionally or personally.

6) Trustworthy & reliable

7) Willing to undertake training

Desirable:

1) Friendly and not afraid to get wet or muddy

2) Flexible

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a genuine love for animals, and are committed to providing excellent care. Applicants should be organised, responsible, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.

A working interview will form part of the recruitment process.

Uniform and equipment provided.
