Experienced Dog Groomer – North London

We are dedicated to providing a professional, accommodating, and stress-free grooming experience for both dogs and their owners. Our salon prioritizes the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet, ensuring a relaxed environment. We are looking for a skilled and experienced dog groomer who can confidently groom a variety of breeds to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of dog grooming, including bathing, brushing, styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of dogs throughout the grooming process.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide professional advice.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic grooming area.
  • Accurately record grooming sessions and customer preferences.
  • Assist with general salon duties, including cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a professional dog groomer in a salon setting.
  • Strong knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
  • Excellent handling skills and understanding of canine behavior.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of grooming five dogs per day.
  • Must be highly punctual and reliable.

Working Hours & Salary

  • Part-time – 16 hours per week, with potential for additional hours.
  • Salary: £14 to £16 per hour.
