Location: Larne, Northern Ireland
Pay: £15 per hour (paid for walk time, estimated £12-£13 per hour after breaks)
Fuel Contribution: Provided for travel between walks

Responsibilities:

  • Walk dogs safely in various weather conditions
  • Provide exercise and mental stimulation during walks
  • Follow owner instructions regarding their dog's needs
  • Clean up after dogs and dispose of waste properly
  • Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to the owner
  • Handle multiple dogs from different households when needed
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with clients

Qualifications:

  • Experience with dogs (volunteering, pet sitting, previous dog walking, or owning dogs)
  • Confidence handling different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable transport (car, bike, or e-bike)
  • Physical fitness to handle long walks and energetic dogs
