K9 Anytime | Daycare Assistant

BASELINE RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role offers opportunity for career progression to a managerial role

Observing and monitoring your designated group of dogs attending daycare, ensuring they are safe, secure, interacting appropriately and beneficially at all times.

Knowing the dogs in your group exceptionally well, to know individuals’ characters and needs and to be able to provide account of their behaviour or anything of note to parents on request.

Providing appropriate care for dogs of all ages and breeds mixing together in a group as per their individual requirements (rest, water, meal time, play time etc).

Ensuring their environment is safe and clean at all times. Leaving the environment clean and clear ready for the next day. Cleaning communal areas, indoor rooms and customer facing areas throughout the day and to be left clean and clear at the end of the day.

Picking and packing orders for the Pantry due for collection that day.

Greeting dogs in the morning and handing back dogs with correct belongings at the end of the day to parents. Providing exceptional, polite, enthusiastic and well-informed customer service to all dog parents as per K9 Anytime’s unfaltering service ethic.

Enthusiasm to learn about canine behaviour and care on an ongoing basis and to broaden your knowledge through research, experience and training to be applied to your daily role. Dedication to constantly improving upon and providing the best possible care for the dogs in your custody every day.

Ability to work independently with confidence and to manage your group decisively, as well as have fluidity and flexibility to work as part of our team to keep the day and schedule moving smoothly. Flexibility to work in all departments of K9 Anytime as and where necessary (Daycare, Hotel, Training, Grooming, the Pantry).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £1,500.00-£2,500.00 per month
