Overview

Due to an increase in demand, an exciting opportunity has become available at our modern centre, based in Rainford St. Helens.

The ideal team member must have or is working towards a level 4 in canine hydrotherapy. Level 3 would be considered.

This is currently a part-time, self-employed position and will include Monday am, Friday pm and alternate Sundays. Flexibility is essential to cover holidays and sickness.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the hydrotherapy area and equipment, keeping the environment clean and safe.
  • Assist dogs into and out of the water, monitoring their comfort and behaviour throughout sessions.
  • Deliver exercises according to each dog’s care plan.
  • Maintain clear, accurate session and cleaning records.
  • Careful monitoring helps the team adapt therapy appropriately and supports dogs’ comfort and recovery.

Skills

  • Level 4 or working towards level 4 preferred. Level 3 in Canine hydrotherapy would be considered
  • A patient, confident approach to handling dogs of all sizes
  • Strong observation and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow care instructions, hygiene procedures and safe working practices.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
