What You’ll be Doing:
Bruce’s supports its managers to lead with autonomy, the overall mission is to deliver ambitious and profitable growth through an engaged, motivated, and happy team.
As a Centre Manager at Bruce's you will be the heartbeat of our Doggy Day Care experience. You will lead, empower and develop our dedicated and enthusiastic teams of dog loving professionals, ensuring an exceptional experience for both dogs and their human pawrents.
As the Centre Manager you will oversee the seamless day to day running of the centre with a relentless focus on logistics, fleet and people management. Our Centre Managers are also driving force behind learning and development, customer service, health and safety and all the commercial aspects of running a Bruce’s.
Being a Centre Manager also involves ensuring the centre is compliant, risks are sighted and mitigated and licensing regulations are strictly adhered to as well as:
- Handle the daily operational challenges (van, people and canine logistics)
- Champion team engagement and motivation on a daily basis
- Project management as well as budgeting with a good understanding of P&Ls
- Support the General Manager and taking on responsibilities to support other centres as and when needed.
- Weekly and monthly reporting to the Senior Leadership Team
- Manage the Centre in accordance with the Bruce's Difference; Fluent in Dog, Enrich Every Dog, Celebrate Friendships and Bow Wow Factor
- Support and drive marketing efforts to gain new customers and also focus on customer retention
- All customers are highly satisfied by the service the team deliver.
- End to end people management (performance management, formal meetings, attendance as well as staff first days and inductions
- Managing of monthly payroll submissions and overseeing labour costs
About You:
It goes without saying you will be someone who is flexible with great communication skills and be able to build important rapports with your team and customers.
You are a multitasker as well as being a creative problem solver and confident decision maker with a full UK manual driving licence should you be needed to help chaffuer our daycare dogs.
You will have previous HR and managerial experience and have strong time management.
You are someone who meets targets and helps those in your team to work towards our business goals.
Your expertise will extend to budgeting and planning with an ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
