*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Walker to join our team in providing exceptional care and exercise for our clients' beloved pets. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy being outdoors, this role is perfect for you.
*Duties*
- Driving to client's houses to collect and drop off dogs
- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in all weather conditions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs at all times
- Provide basic training reinforcement during walks
- Maintain cleanliness during walks and dispose of waste responsibly
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behaviour and well-being
*Skills*
- Full UK driving license with access to a car or van is essential
- Experience in animal care, particularly with dogs
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Knowledge of basic veterinary care is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship, Zero hours contract, Volunteer
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
