Naptha Boarding is a successful and well-regarded animal boarding facility just outside Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a “people person” with a love for animals who is committed to ensuring the welfare needs of the pets in our care are met whilst delivering first class customer service to their owners.
This is a full-time position working alongside the owner and other manager on a rota. As part of our small team we expect flexibility and a willingness to cover and deal with whatever needs doing but your main responsibilities as Deputy Manager will be:
- Dealing with all customer communications via email, telephone and in person
- Making bookings using our online booking system, Revelation Pets
- Checking pets in and out ensuring all customer and animal records are accurate and up to date
- Hands-on care of cats and dogs including feeding, administering medication and exercising
- Carrying out customer visits and viewings
- Keeping social media and our website up to date
- Scheduling rotas to ensure there are sufficient staff to meet the needs of the animals in our care
- Carrying out staff appraisals to maintain our high standards and continue personal development
- Taking responsibility and making decisions regarding animal care and business matters
What we are looking for in our Deputy Manager:
- high standards

- experience of managing a team with the ability to train, supervise and motivate
- experience in a customer-focussed environment and an ability to maintain our high levels of customer service

- initiative with a hands-on approach
Qualifications:
- Valid UK driving licence.
- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
Hours:
- 12 hour shift on a rota staring at 6.45am
- Weekend and Bank Holiday working required
