As part of our small family gun dog business we are looking for an enthusiastic, active, self-motivated, willing to learn person - needed immediately and prepared to hit the ground running! Able to fit in with our team.
Great opportunity for somebody that is a keen dog trainer that wishes to take it up as a profession, here at Countryways we are looking for a full-time Gundog trainer to work with our team.
The job will consist of training our dogs, looking after kennels, welfare of animals, helping us with our breeding and training of youngsters.
The applicant should have a pleasant nature, to be able to work with a mixture of high-end clients and to also work in a team.
We are looking for somebody who thinks they would like a lifetime in dogs.
This will be a full-time job - if you live local, or private accommodation available if relocating.
We are looking for someone who is smart, keen and has a driver's license, good manner with people, has an understanding of dogs, but above all has good husbandry skills.
Experience working in kennels and a keen interest in this environment is 100% required.
Our team works in all weather conditions exercising and training dogs.
If relocating your package includes an on-site, one bedroom ground floor new and purpose built apartment. As you may know, when looking after animals there are no set hours with shifts and cover dependable on the business. Be prepared to work during the day/attend to our puppy litters throughout the night.
