Kennel Assistant
- Provide daily care and support for animals in the kennel facility
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medications, and any observed changes in behavior or health
- Knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures to assist with medical treatments or emergencies
- Experience in animal care, including handling and restraining animals safely
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some animals may require assistance or transport
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisory staff

As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care. Your dedication to providing quality animal care and your ability to work well with both animals and people will contribute to our mission of providing a safe and comfortable environment for all pets.

Dog Warden Role

- Collection of stray dogs in allocated areas, patrols & possible action of FPNS – all training given

- 4 x 10 hour shifts per week with 3 days off, to include weekend working as required.

- Must hold full licence with 3 years driving experience of driving a light commercial vehicle.

- Must be IT literate with experience on tablets & PC’s, must also have Microsoft Office experience, mainly Outlook & Excel

- Must be able to work on own incentive and problem solve.

- Ability to provide flexible working within the Mid Shift & Night Shift where necessary on a rota basis.

- Weekend work on a rota.
