Pet Taxi Driver

Contract, Zero Hours
The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their working hours and daily duties to join our team at Heathrow.
Previous experience in driving a van or goods vehicle is necessary as well as the confidence to occasionally handle animals (cats & dogs) and in particular, have confidence in handling the larger breeds.
Essential requirements include:
- Follow a set of processes which are safety & animal welfare centric.
- Carrying out vehicle checks at the start of each day.
- Keep the vehicles clean (inside & out).
- Careful and considerate driving style, always adhering to the rules of the road.
- Have a naturally friendly & helpful manner as you will be dealing with clients face to face upon collection & delivery of their pets.

TailWings Pet Travel is a family run and trusted worldwide pet relocation company based at London Heathrow Airport. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to provide a standard platinum service to all our pets and their families and you too could be a part of this.
We centre entirely around the wellbeing and safety of all the pet’s that we handle.
We are expanding and are looking to add a Pet Taxi Driver to our team.
Your responsibilities
You will, after training, be responsible for the safe delivery and/or collection of pets throughout the UK, this includes liaising with airlines to collect essential paperwork.
Your 'workspace’ will be one of our sign written fully DEFRA approved vans which you will need to keep clean and tidy at all times for the safety and comfort of our furry passengers. Please note, that the role will also involve the moving of pets crates around or within the van as well as on/offloading.

We are looking for an animal friendly person who is dedicated in pursuing a career working with pets and growing with us as a company.
