Lead Educator– Dog Grooming Academy

Location: 170, High Street, London Colney, AL2 1JY
Full-time | Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per year (depending on experience)

Groomarts is a leading academy dedicated to training professional dog groomers. We are looking for an energetic and inspiring Training Academy Manager & Teacher who is passionate about grooming education and helping others develop their careers.

Who we are looking for:

A positive, charismatic person who loves what they do.
A leader who can inspire and motivate both staff and students.
A professional with experience in dog grooming and teaching.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the dog grooming industry.
Level 3 diploma in dog grooming.
Teaching, Assessor, and IQA qualifications (preferred).
Ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong IT knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

-Teach and mentor students, helping them gain the skills to become professional dog groomers.
-Supervise and motivate the team to ensure a positive work environment.
-Manage relationships with clients, including both students and dog owners.
-Resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
-Ensure that teachers deliver high-quality training.
-Assist in the recruitment of new staff when needed.
-Hold weekly meetings with the team to monitor progress and targets.
-Conduct monthly meetings with the business owner to discuss ideas and improvements.

What We Offer:

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per year (depending on experience).
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Occasional weekend work for special events (paid extra).
