Full job description
We're a five star council licensed dog breeding business, and are seeking an individual with exceptionally high standards to join our well knitted team of assistant dog carers.
The role is a physical role, which requires you to be able to lift everything from small dogs and carry them upstairs, through to unloading food delivery orders.
You'll be working as part of a team of people and will always have someone with you, however the role does heavily involve cleaning up after animals. Duties include
Bathing and cleaning puppies
Washing, drying and preparing bedding
Disinfecting floors and surfaces
Exercising and feeding dogs as part of their routine
Inspecting and checking dogs daily
The role involves working shifts, which start at 8am and finish around 1pm. There are also some shifts that start at 4pm and finish at 6pm as part of the bedtime routine.
Due to insurance purposes we can only hire people over the age of 18.
Our requirements include
Must be able to drive and get to Slindon for 8am shift starts
Must be physically fit enough to meet the required standard
Preferred experience with dogs would be an advantage
Must be a caring and animal lover
Must have high standards of cleanliness
Pay is £11.50 per hour and paid via PAYE. Holidays are based on hours worked/accrued. Discounts on dog grooming and dog products available to employees too.
