About Waggingtons
Waggingtons is a small, yet highly professional business with 20 years of service to the local community. The founder, Tracie, is highly experienced in dog behaviour and is excited by the prospect of working closely with others who are motivated, hard-working, and equally as passionate about dogs.

The Ideal Candidate
A knowledge of dogs helps (though isn’t essential), qualifications or experience are both useful, but learning on the job is part of the experience! Waggingtons will be willing to invest in the right candidates on an educational level by subsidising dog-qualifications and training (pending a successful probation period).

The ideal candidates need to be always punctual and live within easy distance of our location. They will need to be flexible, able to think on their feet and willing to work on the odd weekend during busy periods. This is not a stop-gap job, but rather a career choice and a unique opportunity for anyone passionate about working with dogs long-term.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary for a core role in a small and fast-changing business
  • Relaxed home environment with free tea and coffee
  • You will be at the core of the business, interacting with the founder and regular clients on a daily basis
  • Subsidised dog-courses throughout the year
  • Opportunity for significant professional development as we expand
  • Walking, playing and socialising with lots of different dogs every day!
  • 25 holiday days per year
