About us
Aldgate Veterinary Practice are an independent, small animal practice based across two sites in East Yorkshire. We have a purpose-built hospital in Bridlington which is home to our rehabilitation facility which includes an underwater treadmill machine and a large 6 x 4 m hydrotherapy pool.
We have a 15-vet team made up of both experience and more recently qualified vets including certificate holders. We have a wonderful team of Registered Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants supporting them plus reception and administration staff based across both sites.
Our vet led rehabilitation team offers acupuncture, physiotherapy, laser and hydrotherapy.

The role
We are looking for a dedicated Canine Hydrotherapist to join our team. Ideally full-time (4 days over 7) but would welcome applications for part-time hours.
Ideally you will hold a Level 4 qualification in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals (minimum Level 3), Advanced Water Treatment and have experience in practicing canine hydrotherapy post qualification.
An ability to be confident in dealing with dogs of all sizes/temperaments with a wide range of health conditions.
You will be expected to:
- Create and implement treatment plans for patients
- Advise clients on Hydrotherapy treatments and benefits
- Liaise with vets both internal and externally on case progress, concerns, on-going management etc.
- Maintenance and management of equipment during shift
- Diary and client management

Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
