Air Conditioning Engineer Installation, Service & Maintenance

About Us

Domestic Group+ is a growing mechanical and electrical services company delivering high-quality heating, cooling, renewable energy and electrical solutions across the Southeast. We work with domestic and commercial customers, providing exceptional service and technical expertise across all areas of our business.

As we continue to expand our air conditioning division, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding of air conditioning systems across domestic and light commercial properties.

You will work independently and as part of a wider team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of split and multi-split air conditioning systems.
  • Servicing and planned maintenance of air conditioning equipment.
  • Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning system faults.
  • Commissioning and testing of new installations.
  • Completion of service reports, job sheets and compliance documentation.
  • Providing excellent customer service and technical support.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years' experience within the air conditioning or HVAC industry.
  • F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
  • Proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Manufacturer training (Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung, Fujitsu, LG, etc.).
  • Experience working within domestic and commercial environments.
  • Experience commissioning air conditioning systems.
