The Nail & Body Boutique is looking for a Salon Assistant – Housekeeping & Salon Support to play an essential behind-the-scenes role in maintaining the exceptional standards of our luxury salon and spa.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, room preparation and maintaining the presentation of the salon throughout the day.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys this type of work and takes real pride in creating an immaculate environment, not someone who needs to be constantly reminded what needs doing.

Your Role

A large part of your day will involve maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the salon, including:

• Cleaning and resetting treatment rooms between clients
• Keeping treatment rooms immaculate throughout the day
• Managing salon laundry, towels, robes and linen
• Washing, drying, ironing, folding and rotating laundry efficiently
• Cleaning and maintaining communal and staff areas
• Keeping reception and client areas beautifully presented
• Monitoring cleanliness throughout the salon and acting without being asked
• Restocking treatment rooms and therapist stations
• Organising products, supplies and stock areas
• Preparing rooms ready for treatments
• Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards
• Preparing and serving client refreshments
• Clearing and resetting refreshments and client areas
• Supporting therapists and reception during busy periods
• Helping the wider team wherever needed to keep the salon running smoothly

This is an active, hands-on role. You will be on your feet, moving around the salon and juggling different priorities throughout the day.

The Person We're Looking For

You don't need to be a beauty therapist to be brilliant at this role.

What matters most is your work ethic, attention to detail and pride in high standards.

You are someone who:

• Notices something needs cleaning and does it without being asked
• Likes everything to have its place
• Takes satisfaction from leaving a room immaculate
• Is naturally tidy and organised
• Works quickly without cutting corners
• Doesn't mind repetitive cleaning and housekeeping tasks
• Is proactive rather than waiting for instructions
• Can prioritise when several things need doing at once
• Is reliable, punctual and consistent
• Understands that the smallest details contribute to a luxury client experience
• Enjoys being part of a busy team and helping others
• Has a positive, professional attitude

Previous salon, spa, hospitality, housekeeping or similar experience would be an advantage.

Pay & Benefits

From £12.71 per hour
Pay will comply with the applicable National Minimum/Living Wage requirements and may vary according to age and experience.
