Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations across all guest rooms, suites, and public spaces.
- Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness standards, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to verify adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication regarding guest requests or special requirements.
- Implement training programs for new team members and ongoing development initiatives for existing staff.
- Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints or issues related to cleanliness, resolving them efficiently to enhance satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of janitorial practices, cleaning techniques, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and guests.
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly preferred.

Pay: £16.20 per hour
