Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Appliance Repair Engineer to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background and a passion for appliance maintenance and repair. Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site diagnostics and repairs of domestic appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, and refrigeration units.
  • Interpret technical schematics and manuals to identify faults accurately.
  • Perform maintenance tasks to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan.
  • Repair or replace faulty components using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to air conditioning units, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Lead small teams or assist in training junior technicians when required.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and service reports.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in appliance repair or related mechanical roles.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Experience with equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting across various domestic appliances.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning systems and their servicing is desirable.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to guide or mentor colleagues when necessary.
  • Background in construction or general maintenance is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
