REGISTERED MANAGER – DOMICILIARY CARE

Bournemouth, Dorset

Part-time permanent position: £30,000 per annum + Performance Bonus

Full time permanent position: £45,000 per annum + Performance Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Registered Care Manager to lead and develop a newly registered domiciliary care service in Bournemouth.

This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished care leader to build a high-quality service from the ground up, supported by an existing care package pipeline and a committed ownership team with a clear vision for growth.

We are looking for a manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding care, maintaining regulatory excellence, developing high-performing teams, and driving sustainable business growth.

The successful candidate will have significant autonomy to shape the service, establish operational systems, recruit and develop staff, and influence strategic decisions as the business expands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times
  • Ensure the high-quality person-centred care is delivered
  • Monitor quality, safety and service performance
  • Promote a positive culture that supports the wellbeing and independence of service users
  • Staff management, recruiting, supervising, training and supporting
  • Safeguarding, protecting service users from abuse, neglect or harm

Qualifications

  • Valid registration as a Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a domiciliary care service.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving and maintaining CQC compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, quality assurance, governance, and workforce management.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional person-centred care.
