Full job description

We are looking for a Glazier within the Cardiff area who understand that we do a lot of work in people’s homes, along with large council led projects and we treat those valued customers in the same way we treat a much-respected family member - whilst also keeping them safe. Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install glass for windows, doors, and other structures
- Fabricate and assemble metal frames for glass installation
- Install and secure glass panes using various methods such as glazing compounds or mouldings
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape, trim, and smooth glass edges
- Install weatherstripping and seals to ensure proper insulation and prevent leaks
- Repair or replace damaged glass or frames as needed
- Work with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and integration of glass components

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a glazier or in a related field
- Proficient in welding techniques for metal frame fabrication
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to glass installation is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized glazing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to glass installation
