Role: Automatic Door Installation Engineer
Salary: Up to £20ph (£45,857) DOE + Door to Door + Van (Personal use permitted)
Location: Midlands
Shift: 42.5 hour week
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x and 2x
On Call Rota: 1/7 weeks + standby + call out bonus + overtime rates

Are you an engineer with experience installing aluminium doors, shopfronts, commercial glazing, entrance systems or architectural aluminium products looking to take the next step in your career? My client is a leading national provider of Automatic Entrance Systems and is looking to recruit an Automatic Door Installation Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that genuinely invests in its engineers through manufacturer training, industry qualifications and long-term career development.

Ideal candidates would be located in the Wolverhampton, Stafford, Birmingham, and Derby area

As an Automatic Door Installation Engineer you will be responsible for
Installation of Automatic Doors, Sliding, Swing and Revolving.
Following EN16005 guidelines to ensure doors are left in a safe manor
Offering fantastic face to face customer service
Good communication with internal and external stakeholders
Liaising with clients and management to ensure customer requirements are met
Willingness to partake in the on-call rota (approx. 1/8)
Completing paperwork accurately and on time
Ensuring van stock is always kept up to requirements

The successful Automatic Door Installation Engineer will have the following experience
Strong installations capability. You should also have good mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
A full UK driving licence.

The Automatic Door Installation Engineer will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes
Company van with personal use permitted
Power tools and phone are provided
Unlimited overtime available and paid at 1.5x / 2x
On call standby (£140pw) with additional payments for call outs after hours
25 days holiday + Bank holidays with Birthday leave after 1 years’ service
