About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Major Works and FRA (Fire Risk Assessment) Team. This is an excellent career opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a varied workload and wants to make a positive difference to the homes and services we provide.


You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of maintenance, repair and improvement works across CCHA properties, both internally and externally. The role covers multiple trades and activities, including vinyl Flooring, bathroom cladding, carpentry, plumbing, and general building works. There will also be opportunities to develop additional skills and undertake relevant training in specialist areas, including fire door installation.

You will be expected to work safely, efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed right first time and in line with relevant quality and safety standards. Working collaboratively with colleagues across CCHA, you will help us maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and deliver quality improvements to our customers' homes.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with participation in our out-of- hours service on a rota basis.

About You

With a strong desire to further improve our service delivery, we are looking for an outstanding Multi-Skilled Operative who has a genuine passion for repairs, maintenance and improvements. Someone who has demonstrable experience in delivering a quality customer-focused service.
